Parent Agents Promoting Learning and Student Success...

The 2011 Annual Parent Conference will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Marriott Hotel, 500 Hill Avenue.  Once a year for half a day, parents gather to be motivated, informed, and enlightened on making a difference in their child's academic experience.  The major goal of the conference is to enhance parent awareness about how to be an effective school-home partner in strengthening student academic success.

Conference Outline:

Participants will have an opportunity to attend engaging workshops and vist the exhibit area highlighting various Knox County Schools and community programs.  In addition, various university, college and technical schools will be participaing in the exhibit area to promote college readiness.

Who should attend?

Every parent/guardian in Knox County Schools who has an interest in investing in opportunities to help their child to achieve success in school.
